The Holiday event is similar to the Back to School program. Fifty to 60 children from low income schools are selected to go on a Holiday gift shopping opportunity with a police officer. Each child has a budget of $150 (about half of which will come from police staff). Students are treated to breakfast and games with police personnel before heading out for their shopping excursion.
