The Annual Awards Luncheon is held during police week in May to honor the officers of the Salt Lake City Police Department and recognize those who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to make a real difference in the community. The event includes officer awards and a program to honor all of Salt Lake City Police Department's fallen officers. Department employees and their families are invited to attend. Community members may also buy tickets to the event.
